GamiFries
McDonald's steals the spotlight from the Switch 2 launch with a 3D-printable fry box accessory.
Overview
Background
Nintendo is best known for two things: Mario Kart and aggressive lawsuits. We had to hack the Switch 2 launch without catching a red shell.
Idea
We uploaded GamiFries, an unbranded, 3D-printable fry holder onto MakerWorld with zero media budget or promo. The internet found it, blew it up overnight, and put McDonald's right next to the console for free. Some were lovin' it. Others were hatin' it. But in the end, all anyone could talk about was fries.
Lore
Born out of our genuine love for gaming and fries. We built everything in-house, from R&D to product shots that I took where my copywriter doubled as my camera assistant and hand talent.
